Yael writes, "I've worked on all kinds of illustration projects for people of all ages.  I've depicted numerous cultures around the world, and brought history to life from ancient times into the future.  I've visualized concepts of spirituality and articulated the intangible.

What I love most about this project is that it encompasses it all.  The full spectrum of human experience is here, from birth to death and all the seasons of our soul in between – and beyond.  No thread in the web of life is left untouched in Daven's work, as she is ever widening her own capacity through her work – and beyond herself to others.

For both Daven and me, our collaboration as author and illustrator in creating this unique oracle deck is a mirror of the deck itself, ever challenging us to be receptive in the very spirit of the card by that name; to trust the unknown; to look deeper, seek guidance, find our voice.

Thus, the Power of the Yin is infused with our experience and intentions in creating it.  In their intrinsically feminine nature, the cards themselves have guided us, as a gift to others."
